» International Law:
International law is the branch of law based on custom, treaties, or legislation that control or effect the rights and duties of nations in relation to each other.

International law consists of rules and principles of general application dealing with the conduct of states and of international organizations and with their relations, as well as with some of their relations with persons. There are two types of international laws, namely, international treaties and agreements and customary international law.

There is a number of government and quasi-government bodies that attempt to regulate, stimulate, and govern international law. These bodies include, among others, the United Nations, International Court of Justice, World Court, International Monetary Fund, OECD, and even the Catholic Church.
